We finished the semester off with a hike of humpback rock! It was a great way to a great semester.

We were delighted to host Tim Kaine for a discussion of policy with a small group of students.

We hosted the two candidates in the Democratic primary for the seat in the 57th district, here in Charlottesville, today for a debate. Thanks to Sally Hudson and Kathy Galvin for attending, and Paul Freedman for moderating.

We were so excited to host Beto O'Rourke on grounds today! Hundreds of people waited in line ofr hours to get a chance to hear Mr. O'Rourke speak!

We sent some of our members down to Norfolk this weekend to participate in the annual convention. We were able to meet other Virginia Democrats, hear amazing speakers and elected Joseph Dennie as our Southside Regional Caucus Chair. 

Today at our meeting we hosted Deena Sharuk. She is a lawyer at the legal aid justice center in Charlottesville and it was great to be able to hear about recent changes to immigration law from her!

Many of our members got dressed up in order to attend the annual Restoration Ball. It is a formal ball put on, and all proceeds benefit the Charlottesville Community. We had a blast.

Some of our members joined Planned Parenthood Generation X at UVA at their rally to save title 10. 

Today we volunteered with Challah for Hunger to help make the dough for their weekly challah sale! It was hard work, but lots of fun!

Today we went to VAYD Lobby Day in Richmond. We were able to meet with legislators and sit in on committee meetings!
