We were delighted to host Tim Kaine for a discussion of policy with a small group of students.

We hosted the two candidates in the Democratic primary for the seat in the 57th district, here in Charlottesville, today for a debate. Thanks to Sally Hudson and Kathy Galvin for attending, and Paul Freedman for moderating.

We were so excited to host Beto O'Rourke on grounds today! Hundreds of people waited in line ofr hours to get a chance to hear Mr. O'Rourke speak!

We sent some of our members down to Norfolk this weekend to participate in the annual convention. We were able to meet other Virginia Democrats, hear amazing speakers and elected Joseph Dennie as our Southside Regional Caucus Chair. 

Today at our meeting we hosted Deena Sharuk. She is a lawyer at the legal aid justice center in Charlottesville and it was great to be able to hear about recent changes to immigration law from her!
